The property as a whole can accommodate 20 people – 17 in the main house and a two-bedroom cottage at the bottom of the property for another 3 people.
Inside the main house you will find eight high standard bedrooms in individual designs ranging from traditional Portuguese golden & blue tones to modern style looks, offering heavenly super king size or twin beds and air conditioning for your individual comfort. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with heated floor and fluffy bathrobes, and their own private balconies or terraces with beautiful views.

Your retreat guests will enjoy our healthy gourmet cuisine on the spacious terrace with sea view, relax in the outdoor lounge area overlooking the pool or find their very own space on their private terrace, some with spectacular sea view. The house has a large dining area, a well equipped kitchen, an honesty bar with fresh fruit smoothies and organic teas and a huge living room with a logfire for cozy evenings.
This Retreat Quinta is the perfect oasis to completely relax and go deeper into mind, body and soul, ensuring a deep feeling of warmth and well-being. Practice yoga with the fresh seabreeze filling your lungs, while the sound of birds, frogs and crickets floats from the garden through the large open doors. Set in a separate building, the large yoga shala offers a quiet atmosphere overlooking the Italian garden and offers ample space for 20 students. Or you enjoy the large shaded Santa Catarina tiled outdoor terrace or the large lawn for practicing in nature whilst looking out past the sloping hills to the distant ocean.

– Pool surrounded by terraces with sun loungers, tables and chairs – perfect for a lazy afternoon in the sun

Daily cleaning, additional activities and a catering designed to your preferences can all be provided as required. The historical town of Lagos is only a few minutes away, offering a relaxed holiday atmosphere, countless restaurants to try the local cuisine and the most spectacular cliff scenery, inviting you to take a boat trip exploring this unique coastline. Or you spend some time at the long golden beaches of Luz, take a walk along the ocean or practice yoga with your feet in the sand.
As a highlight of your retreat you might want to teach right by the ocean, with the waves rolling in right before you, the coming and going of the water taking you into deep meditation or cleanse your system with breathing exercises on the cliffs overlooking the ocean – tell us about your dreams and we will do our best to make them come true!
